Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)On Sunday, March 22, 2009, my daughter Ciera accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and was baptized at Anderson Street Church of Christ in Marks, Mississippi. This day was also Ciera's birthday, and she could not have received a better present than to have the Lord God accept her as a new Christian with open arms. I want to thank Mama Vee and Granddaddy for being there for Ciera's baptism, and the entire congregation of Anderson Street Church of Christ for helping Ciera begin and continue her journey along the straight and narrow path of righteousness and faith. I definitely want to give an extra special thanks to my wife Chelesa for teaching Ciera about Jesus through God's Word and through her own actions, and I most definitely want to thank God for His un-ending Love and Mercy He has given me and my family. This is Ciera, along with Chelesa, Mama Vee, and Jensen, just after her baptism. This is a short video of Ciera's Baptism. Enjoy!
