Date Purchased: 1994 Dealer: Starkville Ford, Starkville, Mississippi Engine Type: 1.8L DOHC Inline 4 Rated at 127 Horsepower Options: Sunroof, Fog Lamps Most Memorable Moment: Surviving an 80-mph "straight-line wind" at Lake Lowndes State Park. It was June 5, 1998. It starting raining, so being the young lovers we were back then, I thought it would be cool to "go outside in the rain" at the state park. Well right when we first started making out by the car, the wind started blowing harder, and harder, and harder... then we knew we were in trouble so we hopped back in the car, and as we started driving, trees started falling in the road! We were able to make it to the basketball gym at the park, which had a basement. After it was all over, we were survivors of a devestating storm that tore up southern Lowndes County, Mississippi. Luckily, no one was killed, but there was considerable property damage. Talk about messing up my freakness!
