Comments: I couldn't ask for more perfect weather conditions for this run. The skies were mostly clear with a full moon. I was hoping to achieve a 13.7 with my Magnaflow muffler and Nittos setup. When I made my first pass, I got a 13.766, but I didn't get a real good hook off the line (60ft = 2.101). Knowing this, I tried again. I got the Nittos nice and sticky, and on my second pass, the Nittos hooked nicely. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised when I got my timeslip. The tire pressure on the Nittos were 30 or 31 psi. It was basically the most optimal setup for the Formula for this run. I wish I'd gotten the Magnaflow muffler as one of my first mods, but better late than never. Also, I added Lucas 80 W 90 Gear Oil for my differential, installed a new fuel filter, and recharged my K&N air filter before I made this run.
NOTE (Added 5-24-2006): When changing your differential gear lube, BE SURE TO ADD THE LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVE! You can get the limited-slip additive at any GM dealer for about 8 bucks.
