Comments: It's been over two years since I've run on a drag strip, and just under three years since I've run at Memphis Motorsports Park. I've never broken into the 13's at Memphis either. I was going to the track just for fun, but also to see what ETs I could achieve without using drag radials. I used Royal Purple Synthetic Oil, added a high octane booster to my fuel, and recharged my K&N air filter before I made this run. I also made this run on a 3/4-full tank of gas. Needless to say, I was happy with my ET. Also, the track hooks like no tomorrow! The drag strip was reconditioned earlier this year, and they did an outstanding job. I only wish I would have made another run when the sun went down - I might have gotten a 13.6!
